A superb Georgian mahogany tilt-top table dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. It has a circular one-piece mahogany top standing on a ring turned support with tripod splayed legs. It has a lovely rich colour and is strong and sturdy with a good level top, strong catch and smooth tilting mechanism.
It is in good condition for its age and displays beautifully. There are some minor signs of age and use, a few small surface marks, old stains and light knocks but nothing detrimental and there are no major damages. There has been an old repair to one leg but the table is strong and sturdy. It has been gently polished and is ready for use.
