Two interesting and unusual early Staffordshire figures. One figure is a small example of a square based type which shows a reclining woman possibly representing flowers or spring. The second figure shows a gardener standing with a spade, unusually for this type it is treacle glazed. The two figures are both in good condition with just a couple of chips to the underside of the base of the female figure.
