This RARE STAFFORDSHIRE DOG WITH BASKET QUILL HOLDER dates from circa 1860.
It is well-modelled and the DOG is standing proudly with the basket of flowers in his mouth. The opening for the QUILL is set within a large flower head.
Condition: Good. No cracks or restoration. A very small chip to the rim of the basket.
