19th century silhouette of a male. The reverse has a name probably for the sitter , however difficult to make out
Also states by W alport, this would refer to William Alport a well known silhouette artist who worked from the bullock building in Liverpool
This silhouette shows signs of his work most notably the frilly shirt collar however there is no signature
that i can find
framed and glazed and in good condition with only minor signs of age as to be expected.
