? A wonderful late C18th Ormolu mounted Blue John urn, attributed to the workshop of Matthew Boulton. The acorn finial with rope twist border, above pale veining and rich purple marble, with bold female masks to the sides, over palmette apron with spreading socle. Excellent quality throughout and rare having no damage or breaks. Circa 1780.
Ormolu can be easily cleaned to remove any surface marks if requested.
