The Fine Art Fund has dated this Pollard Oak Library Table to the 19th Century.
It is a useful shape to sit at and use a desk as intended. It would also make a very fine sofa table to display family photos, flowers, &c. As normal, this table is a much finer piece than these photographs can convey and it really is one of the best.
