A Large 20th Century Artist's Dummy, Mannequin or Lay Figure.

Figures of this sort were first used in the great artistic workshops of the Renaissance and have been a central part of the artist's studio ever since. This example is of particularly large scale and is fully jointed so as it is possible to pose it in a variety of positions. Antique and vintage artists' equipment is a very popular, and pieces like this can be used as a decorative accent or of course, can be used once again in the way that was intended when they were made.

This piece is in lovely condition whilst still showing all the desirable signs of age and use.
