A fine pair of Staffordshire pottery dogs. The pair are beautifully modelled, stand proud and represent spaniels. The decoration is quite superb with wonderful expressions and great coats in russet coloured red. The dogs are in very good condition there is loss to the gilding on one spaniels’ collars and chain and a very small star crack. The pair are great examples of the type and wonderfully decorative. C.1860.
