A matching set of four late 19thc French gilt bronze ormolu curtain tie backs c1880. The tie backs have an ornate classical design. The wall mount is a sheath decorated with acanthus leaves and an urn of flowers. The tieback arm is spiralled with a scroll and acorn finial. The backs bear the initials of the maker AJ and most bear the pattern number 21.
