Allen and Hanbury's Ltd were a noted British pharmaceutical company founded in 1715 and taken over by GlaxoSmithKline. There are around 51 individual instruments/pieces including Liston style amputation knives, steel Capital saw,2 part trephine, various knives, saws, forceps and many other tools and accessories. The overall weight is 9.4kg which again indicates the scale/number of instruments. Overall condition is good in line with age and use, there are minor marks, signs of use ,all as you would expect from a piece of this age.
