A Carved Solid Oak little Table.
A lovely tiny table for displaying.
We bring to you this one of a kind unusual scaled down version of a solid oak Jacobean style table believed to be made in the Edwardian period (C1900). We believe this table has been made by a very skilled apprentice, as a practice piece, or even just to display his skill. This tiny table makes for a great talking piece and look fantastic amongst a collection, placed on a shelf or as a display. The top feature ornate hand carvings in a floral theme to the top with egg & spoon carved edges. The legs are finely turned and are complete with stretcher rails and a beautifully hand shaped barley twist stretcher rail between them.
This almost flawless miniature table is in fantastic condition with a lovely polished finish with a lightly faded Jacobean dark oak colour with patina and charm.
This item is in great condition for its age as shown by the photographs however being an antique item of this age there are blemishes here and there which we feel adds to its originality and heritage.
