A fine quality late 19thc pair of French ormolu gilt bronze curtain tie backs c1880. These tie backs are finely cast with a bulrush and foliage design, which is repeated on both the front of the tie back and the back which attached to the wall. Each one is stamped at the back with the manufacture number 107 and makers initials SM.
