A pair of highly decorative marble urns. The handles cast with horned Bacchic masks, with an amused expression, joined by floral garlands. This pair of vases are made from Alabastro Fiorito with an extra fine variation in colour. Objects made from this material are in many museums, including the Louvre, and was favoured by Roman artisans to be bought by the aristocracy during the grand tour.
