London City Antiques has dated this Mahogany Oval Dining Table to the 1920s.

The impressive oval top displays beautifully figured mahogany veneers, enhanced by a contrasting satinwood crossbanded border that follows the entire circumference. The rich colour, wonderful grain and highly polished surface create a particularly handsome appearance, with the contrasting timbers adding refinement and visual interest.

Standing on a substantial twin pedestal base, the table features elegant reeded column supports, sweeping sabre legs and brass-capped feet with castors. The substantial construction provides an impressive architectural presence while allowing generous seating around the table.
