Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

Wine tables emerged during the 18th century as small, portable surfaces designed specifically to hold wine glasses and bottles during evening assemblies.

These pieces typically feature solid mahogany or other dense hardwoods, joined with traditional techniques such as dovetailing, turned central columns, and tripod base configurations.

Authentication relies on examining timber ageing characteristics, hand-cut joinery marks, natural patination, and the construction methods consistent with historical cabinet-making practices.

They function effectively as versatile accents beside seating arrangements or as display surfaces for lighting and decorative objects, introducing traditional texture into modern schemes.

Preservation requires maintaining stable indoor humidity levels, avoiding direct sunlight exposure, and applying occasional appropriate wax polish rather than modern silicone sprays.
