Earthenware is low-fired porous pottery, glazed to hold liquid, and it covers the domestic and ornamental wares that filled European and Asian households from the 18th century onward.
The highest price for earthenware on Sellingantiques in the last year went to a rare Staffordshire bust of John Wesley, circa 1784, in September 2025.
