A top quality early 20th century leather suitcase in incredible condition with a deep tan colour and a rich patination. The interior is beautifully lined and has its original adjustable securing straps to keep clothes in place during travel. When positioned upright it stands perfectly on three brass studs, both of the sprung latches work, the handle is good and strong, and the stitching is in as perfect a condition as you ever see in vintage luggage. It is made by the oldest suitcase manufacturer in the world, the unrivalled J Pound & Co Ltd of London. Lastly, it has the rare property of having its original key which operates both locks perfectly.
