Regency Burr Elm Occasional Table; Of Neat Proportions

Unusual Regency burr elm occasional table; of neat proportions; the circular top in striking burr elm having an inset shallow frieze raised on a tapering octagonal column terminating in a moulded dished collar; raised on a triform base having concave sides supported on compressed bun feet.
 
The underside of the base having the unusual feature of an original cast iron weight to add stability.
 
English circa 1825
 
Good original condition with a good colour and patination
