Antik Dragon Japanese & Other Fine Art has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Her lurid trial (in Rome) was a cause célèbre at which she was found guilty and beheaded in 1599. The plaque is mounted in a sturdy wood & plaster frame and is unsigned, but it is believed to be 19thC and of German origin.
