Antique Victorian burr walnut freestanding basket base centre tale having an exquisite burr walnut serpentine shaped to with a moulded edge and shaped frieze. It stands on the most appealing basket base which has been beautifully designed and crafted. It boasts four expertly carved solid walnut shaped cabriole legs united by a shaped carved walnut stretcher with original brass castors

The quality of this exceptionally attractive piece is outstanding as is the colour and patination. It is truly an outstanding example and even though there is no makers mark, it would have certainly been designed and crafted by one of the leading cabinet makers of this period.
