An exceptional Regency mahogany and bronze mounted oval wine cooler, of large proportions. The shaped stepped hinged lid enclosing a good quality lift out zinc liner with carrying handles. The main body of slightly tapered form, with fabulous patinated bronze laurel wreath carrying handles, set in bronze mounts with paterae and foliage. The shaped plinth base with castellated carving, and concealed brass casters. Circa 1820
