An impressive ship''s porthole in full working order. This wonderful example, measuring over ½ metre across, is in beautifully heavily engineered brass (or possibly bronze even), and it retains its original thick glass in good order. It is believed to be English, and it dates from the early part of the 20th century, c.1900 — c.1920.
