Magnificent Victorian Cast Iron Stick/umbrella Stand

Description

A boldly cast 19th century stick/umbrella stand in original country-house condition. It has a most attractive genuinely aged paint finish with a crackle glaze and evidence of previous underlying paint colours. There are two removable drip trays for easy cleaning, and an upper retaining loop to keep sticks and umbrellas in place. It is in sound structural condition with no breaks or repairs. This stunning cast iron stand is English, and it dates from c.1880s.
