Within the blue panels are delicate gold and orange botanical motifs, including scrolling stems, leaves and small flowers. The White ornamental band is decorated with elaborate rococo-style scrolling foliage, in pink, burgundy, gold and green. The two handles of the central vase are sculptural, curling outward and terminating in scroll-like rococo forms. The central piece has a pronounced urn form, with a narrow neck, broad rounded body and flared foot.
