Description

A late 19th century mahogany occasional table, the figured octagonal top with a thumb-moulded edge, raised on slender tapered legs united by a cross-stretcher centred by turned finial and raised on integral button feet.

Pairing a geometric silhouette with slender turned spindlework, characteristic of Anglo-Japanese inspired late Victorian Aesthetic Movement design.

Very good antique condition, with some light surface wear consistent with age. Structurally sound, stable and ready to place in the home.
