This is a beautiful antique French 900 silver fox and hare-handled walking stick, circa 1880 in date

The striking stick features an ornate silver handle, marked 900, having a profusely embossed design of a fox and several hares, on a gently tapering hardwood shaft fitted with its original brass ferrule.
