A lovely antique silver vanity set in its original fitted case. This small set was commonly given as a Christening gift. It is a stylish and good quality set and each piece is hallmarked for London, 1927 and the maker Goldsmiths & Silversmiths.The set is in very good condition. It would have originally had a comb with it but it still displays well. There are some minor signs of age and use, some small dinks and surface marks but nothing detrimental. They have been lightly cleaned and polished and are ready for use.The box is good quality with a silk lining and fitted velvet sections to hold each piece. The retailer''s name is in gilt lettering on the lining.
