Description

19th century swedish birch circular center table circa 1870.

This empire circular table, often know as a drum table due to it's rotating capabilities lends itself to be the perfect center table.

Circular birch top with strung black border , fitted with 4 drawers, 2 deep and 2 short each with the same stringing and black shield shape key hole.  top is pegged to the base and has free movement to rotate.  raised on a column and platform base and 4 beautifully carved lions paw feet.

Rich golden colour and patina. Expected restorations to woodwork to apron and base, ring mark to top surface.  recently re-polished in our workshop and ready for everyday use.
