This beautiful pair of brilliant turquoise blue enamelled antique cassolettes are dual purpose, as they are also candle sticks when the top is reversed. They each have a medallion shaped image on each side, depicting a garden scene of Ladies and Gents, as well as a floral spray on the reverse side. The cassolettes are ornately decorated with gilt bronze throughout the piece. There are 2 gilt bronze handles depicting a ram and the body is supported on a round base.
