Mid 18th Century English George II Mahogany Lowboy

£1,850    $2,475    €2,166
A good George II mahogany lowboy of excellent colour; the well-figured solid mahogany top with a moulded edge and rounded corners. It has one shallow and two deep cock-beaded drawers retaining the untouched original handles and the original oak drawer linings. The shaped apron is raised on well-shaped cabriole legs with a slipper foot.

At just 30'''' wide and of the most wonderful untouched colour and surface, this lowboy is an excellent example of early Georgian mahogany furniture.
