The interior of the basket features a hand-painted selection of various flowers. FAQs

Originating from the Royal Saxon Porcelain Manufactory in Meissen, Germany, these pieces combined functional dessert service with elaborate sculptured figures and pierced lattice work inspired by Rococo designs.

These items were crafted from hard-paste porcelain, featuring hand-moulded figures, delicate lattice reticulation, hand-painted polychrome enamel decoration, and gilded accents applied before firing.

Authentic pieces typically feature the hand-painted underglaze blue crossed swords mark on the base, alongside detailed hand-painted enamelling, crisp figure modelling, and delicate applied ceramic flowers.

Place the item as a focal point on a polished sideboard, mantelpiece, or console table to create visual contrast against contemporary architectural lines and neutral backdrops.

Dust gently using a soft-bristled artist brush or microfibre cloth, avoiding chemical cleaners, immersion in water, or abrasive materials that could dislodge fragile applied elements or strip gilding.
