This pair of Regency lemonade beakers originate from the Georgian period, created from porcelain with hand-painted enamel decoration and gold leaf gilding in a grand Regency style. Each piece takes a flared form with slightly tapering sides, displaying a central continuous white band painted with pink roses and green foliage. This floral motif sits between wide top and bottom bands of cobalt blue ground, which are overlaid with hatched gold lattice designs. The objects measure approximately 10 cm in height, proportioned for display or delicate use. Gilding appears along the rims with a small amount of wear visible from age. The underside holds a crown over crossed batons and the letter D in red, alongside the gilder number 16 for Joseph Broughton. Today, these decorative tablewares suit placement upon a sideboard top or within a cabinet setting, adding classic ceramic artistry to a domestic interior. Collectors of early British porcelain appreciate the combination of hand-painted botanical art and rich cobalt and gold borders. The sturdy yet refined ceramic construction allows the pair to stand securely as decorative accents in a traditional or period room setting.

Produced during the late 18th and early 19th centuries, Derby porcelain from this period features refined soft-paste or early bone china bodies adorned with hand-painted enamel florals, rich cobalt blue grounds, and gilt decoration.

Antique English porcelain beakers were typically crafted from soft-paste porcelain or bone china, finished with hand-applied enamel paints and fired mercury gilding.

Authentic pieces frequently bear hand-painted factory marks, such as the crown and crossed batons in red or blue, alongside characteristic soft glaze texture, light translucency, and gilded detailing.

These decorative vessels can be displayed inside glass-fronted cabinets, positioned symmetrical on a mantelpiece, or arranged on a sideboard top alongside other period ceramics.

Clean delicate antique porcelain by dusting with a soft microfibre cloth or washing by hand using lukewarm water and mild liquid soap, avoiding abrasive pads and chemical cleaners.
