Regent Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
It has a very decorative twisted fluted silver pommel with a sturdy Malacca tapering shaft which comes complete with its original ferrule, opening to reveal the stick with fold-out bar, measuring up to 16.2hh or 168cm.
It is a lovely item and as such would be appreciated by any collector of walking sticks or canes.
