Oak Oval Wake Dining Table Early 20th Century

1920 - 1940
Description

Here we have for sale today the most wonderful quality large Oak dining table.

Dating 1930's and all based on an Irish Wake Style table. (its never been used as a Wake table, this is only the Terminology used)

All made in solid English oak with this joint and peg construction at 7ft 6 inches in length it seat's 10 to 12.

Standing on these large turned leg's with stretchers, it has a double gate-leg mechanism to serve both drop leaves

A wonderful oval shaped top with stunning grain and character.

Its been into the workshop for a clean and polish and looks stunning with this wonderful rick oak colour and polish (please see pictures)

Solid in all its joints with NO breaks, NO splits, and NO woodworm.
