Regency Mahogany Console Table / Serving Table

Description

Good late Regency mahogany console table / serving table; in exceptional well figured mahogany; the shapely upstand gallery with a finely carved cresting of flower heads, acanthus leaves and anthemions with a bookmatched panel below, above the flame mahogany rectangular top in a quarter veneered design; above the cavetto shaped frieze having a full length concealed drawer. Raised on substantial scrolled supports headed with carved acanthus leaves, reeded roundels to the sides and terminating in lion paw feet. Raised on a concave plinth base. Fabulous rich colour and patina.
