A striking pair of late 19th-century German porcelain figures produced by Richard Eckert & Co., Volkstedt. Standing at approximately 35 cm high, these are impressive decorative works executed in bisque porcelain with glazed bases.The modelling is confident and expressive, and the painting of the faces and garments is refined and balanced.
