This nineteenth-century William IV library table is made from rich brown mahogany with a leather inset top and brass hardware. The piece has two frieze drawers fitted with small round wooden pull knobs, brass key escutcheons, turned drop finials beneath the corners, and an intricate turned stretcher joining the legs, which terminate in brass castors. The timber displays a warm, polished grain throughout its rectangular surfaces. Measuring 73.5 cm high, 107 cm wide, and 60 cm deep, the table provides a compact yet functional writing surface for a study or home office.
