M Lees and Sons has dated this George IV Mahogany Writing Table to the 19th Century.
. Raised on shapely carved standard end pillar supports untitled by a turned stretcher. The flat bases with lateral carved corbels , having compressed bun feet with concealed brass castors .

Each bearing a brass number plaque to the upright end .
In ‘as found’ , fresh-to-market condition, in need of minor restoration and replacement leather writing surfaces.
NB This pair of tables are of identical design and proportions to a matching pair of rosewood library also listed on our website .
Provenance: The Institute of Directors, Pall Mall, London, England.
