A well looked after Georgian Mahogany Drop Leaf Dining Table.An ideal antique large drop leaf table ideal for space saving.This is a marvellous example of a Georgian drop leaf solid Mahogany side table believed to be made around C1820 featuring a lovely lightly faded yet rich Mahogany colour with lots of original patina. We have just cleaned and waxed this table to give a lovely natural sheen and enhancement.This table has a very small form yet is versatile from having a two large squared drop-down leafs managing to comfortably seat up to 6 people and be used as a dining, breakfast table or as a side table. This table features 4 straight, squared typical Georgian legs with a scratch moulding to the external edge. 2 of the legs are hinged on hand cut finger joints to support the leaves when opened, the table underside is jointed together nicely by dovetails which can be seen when these legs are out.
