A matched pair of pedestals from 1930 stands ready to display decorative objects in a grand classical interior. Each column exhibits white and grey variegated marble with visible dark veining running through the stone. The design incorporates a circular top capital above a turned upper section, a deeply carved spiral shaft, and a stepped circular moulded base resting on the floor.
