Kpm Berlin Coffee Pot, C. 1880.

KPM Berlin porcelain coffee pot, c. 1880. The wrythen moulded coffee pot, finely hand painted with a cockerel and hens to one side, and turkeys to the reverse, along with moths and insects. Having a branch handle, with leaf terminals, heightened in gilt.
 
Surmounted by a domed cover, painted with insects, and having a bud finial.
 
Underglaze blue sceptre mark to the base.
 
Height – 20.5 cm, 8 1/8”.
 
Width (Handle to spout.) – 15.5 cm, 6 1/8”.
 
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
