An attractive Edwardian ebonised mahogany envelope card table. The square top twists on its base and opens in the form of an envelope to reveal a green baize card-playing surface, complete with circular divots for holding chips or other game pieces. To one side is a fitted drawer with ornate gilt brass handles, and the table is raised on four elegant cabriole legs united by a shaped undertier.
