Antique Black Forest Pocket Watch Holder

1900 - 1920
Description

A lovely Black Forest folding pocket watch stand dating from the early 20th Century. It is made from wood with carved details including floral and leaf motifs. The hinged lid folds back to create a stand for the watch and the interior has a lined recess for the timepiece.

It is in very good condition with no major damages. There are some general signs of age and use, some small knocks and minor marks but nothing detrimental and it displays well.

Approximate Measurements :

Length : 3 1/2" (9cm)

Width : 2 1/2" (6.5cm)

Diameter of Watch Holder : 43mm
