Fine Quality Chinese Porcelain Plaque Qing Dynasty

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a most beautiful early 20th century Chinese painting on hard paste porcelain in the famille vert palette, dating from around 1920.

The porcelain plaque has a lovely delicate colourway hand painted in enamels with a fine peacock central to the work. The bird sits in beautiful chrysanthemum blooms and foliage observing two swallows above in the clear white sky.

This is framed in a delightful millefiore famille vert border.

The plaque is in perfect condition and measures 32 cms by 23 cms
