Description

An early 20th century taxidermy fox mask by renowned taxidermists E. F. Spicer 58 Suffolk Street Birmingham. This is an adult fox mask looking straight ahead, mouth agape, with piercing glass eyes. It has the original prepared brush with brass mount and the fox is mounted upon a typical solid oak shield, taxidermist's partial trade label to verso.

This measures 70 cms overall. The shield is 29 cms by 23 cms and it is 26 cms deep.
