Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Early 20th-century painted clock dials were created as functional timekeeping faces or commissioned as trade signs for watchmakers, pub exteriors, and commercial shops to market local craftsmen.

Large clock dials were primarily constructed using wood or metal bases finished with hand-applied oil paint, gilded highlights, and wrought iron or cut steel clock hands.

Authentic pieces exhibit natural paint cracking or craquelure, subtle brushstrokes from hand lettering, oxidation on metal components, and edge wear consistent with historic age.

Mount the oversized dial centrally above a sideboard or fireplace mantel to create a structural visual focal point within rustic, industrial, or transitional rooms.

Dust the surface lightly using a dry, soft-bristled brush or microfibre cloth, keeping the dial away from direct heat sources and high humidity to prevent paint flaking.
