A Large Early 20th Century Moroccan Hand Painted Islamic Pot, circa 1920s, 33cm.

An enchanting antique Moroccan, hand made earthenware pot with exquisite, traditional Islamic hand painted decoration, symbols and motifs with artist signature to base, a very fine example.

A handsome scale ash or tin glaze earthenware pot of excellent scale, measuring 33vm tall with twin handles and mostly very good antique condition.

The matte glaze finish, typical of the period shows few areas of blistering, minor areas only, see photos and minimal scuffs to add authenticity, no chips, cracks or losses.

An impressive antique jar, pot, vase etc.., a splendid example of skilled decoration, traditional theme and palette showing hand applied turquoise, blues and orange hues.
