Victorian Apprentice Salesman’s Sample Table

Description

An Attractive and good quality early Victorian miniature / apprentice centre table with circular top over turned central support with circular base and three feet.

There is much debate as to the original purpose regarding many items of miniature furniture, with some people believing them to be apprentice pieces or salesman’s samples; this particular example is of excellent quality and could have been a novelty candle stand or stand for objects on a table or sideboard.

In excellent condition throughout, cleaned and waxed.
