Treasure Trove Worcester Ltd has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
An original late 18th-century double-page spread from The Times, dated October 8th, 1798, reporting on Admiral Nelson’s celebrated victory over the French fleet at the Battle of the Nile, near Rosetta (modern-day Rashid), Egypt.

The newspaper sheet is mounted and glazed within a simulated walnut and mahogany frame, with a green mount and titled plaque reading: “Nelson’s Victory at Rosetta – August 3rd 1798”. The piece is attractively presented and ready to hang.
