“Rowland Ward died in 1912, but his name lives on, synomous with high quality and big game taxidermy…. For over a century, the firm was the market leader in taxidermy…….

An innovation of which Rowland Ward was very proud, was the fabrication of ‘animal furniture’ (often termed ‘Wardian Furniture’). It appears that his ingenuity in utilising bits of animals knew no bounds. His Autobiography list crocodile umbrella stands, tables made from antelope skins and other imaginative creations……………..
